Clareville Beach Reserve is a kid friendly location that is a wonderful spot for everyone. The water is calm and you can set up camp on the sand or under the shade of the trees on the reserve. A great spot for big group get togethers, mother's groups or just a fun, easy day with your little people.
A new 8.4km trail around the foreshore of Narrabeen Lagoon - this is a stunning, relaxing natural environment for both pedestrians and cyclists. It's flat the whole way around with lots of spots to stop and have a break if little legs are getting tired.
Manly Skate park is a great one for skateboarders and scooter riders.
Little Manly Beach Kiosk is a relaxed cafe right on the beach. Location doesn't get much better than this and the food is great too.

Manly Warringah War Memorial Park, known as Manly Dam, is a great spot for picnics, water sports, bush walking and mountain bike riding. It also has a safe spot for swimming.
Pittwater is great to visit at any time of year.
Clontarf is a fantastic, family friendly harbour beach reserve. It has a netted swimming area, a wonderful park and lots of grassed area.
It is an ideal spot for toddlers and preschoolers with calm, safe swimming areas. The park is suitable for all ages and is surrounded by a little bike track. The reserve is a great spot for mother's groups and large get togethers. There are picnic tables, benches, BBQ facilities, shelters and lots of big trees that keep the area well shaded.
A wonderful park with lots of equipment and plenty of space and bike tracks. It is fully fenced and there is some shade.
A great moderately easy walk at the north end of Mona Vale Beach up to the headland. It has a few steep spots but the view at the end of the ten minute climb is worth it.
A beautiful spot to set up a picnic or just stop and gaze out at beautiful Pittwater. It's a foreshore reserve with picnic tables, BBQs and grassed area. Great for a splash when it's low tide, a paddle board or kayak at anytime and a good spot for the young angler.
There is so much to love about Narrabeen Lake. You can now enjoy the recently opened Narrabeen Trail and walk or ride around the entire lake, stop at one of the many parks and have a play, hire a kayak or stand-up paddle board or picnic at one of the many beautiful spots scattered around the lake.
Furlough Park is fenced playground located at Narrabeen Beach near the surf club.
Located on Avalon Beach Reserve north of the car parking area - this skate park includes a skateboard bowl and is popular with all ages.
Rowland Reserve is one of the best dog friendly foreshore reserves in Sydney. Lots of grassed area for our four legged friends to run about on before they cool off with a swim. Always very popular with the pooches and parking is free for one hour.
A wonderful spacious reserve on the foreshore, it has something for everyone. The Flying Fox Cafe, a state of the art park, plenty of BBQs and picnic tables, a secluded beach and bike tracks. A great spot to meet friends and family and settle in for a fun day.
Freshwater Beach is a good family beach with good swimming conditions.
